The flexible strip 8 which may be positioned either when the tube is in the extended state, Fig. 3, or when in the compressed state, Fig. 6, and then fixed to the outside of the upstanding parts of the windings. With the strip 8 positioned as shown in Fig. 3 the tube can only bend in the peripheral region opposite strip 8 whereas when the strip is positioned as shown in Fig. 6 the tube can only bend on the side to which the strip is fixed. In a second embodiment the flexible strip may be fixed to the inside of the windings. In a third embodiment strip (8), Fig. 11 (not shown), may be fixed to the tube by its ends and the remaining part held against the windings by means of a flexible sheath (17), e.g. of metal webbing. In a fourth embodiment the restraining means are a series of spacer devices (9), Fig. 7 (not shown), which with the tube extended lie in grooves (4) and are each fixed to one of the edges (10) of the windings and are supported against edge (6) of an adjacent winding. In fifth and sixth embodiments the spacer devices (12), Fig. 8 (not shown), and (13), Fig. 9 (not shown), are wound-in during the manufacture of the tube so that they lie in grooves (4) of the windings in such a manner that the edges (6) engage in correspondingly shaped recesses in the spacer devices. In a seventh embodiment spacer devices 16, Fig. 12, are arranged on a flexible strip 15 so that each spacer engages in the grooves 4 and are fixed on one edge of the windings or held in place by a flexible sheath 17. In an eighth embodiment the spacer devices consist of notches 18, Fig. 15 arranged side by side in pairs on the upstanding part of the profiled strip from which the tube is wound. In a ninth embodiment, Fig. 17, the spacers may consist of projecting tongue-like sections 19 formed on the profiled strip from which the tube is wound in such a manner that the ends of the sections are supported against the edges of adjacent windings.

(54) DEVICE FOR THE SUPPLY OF ELECTRIC ENERGY FROM THE STANDING OBJECT TO THE MOBILE
one
The invention relates to devices for the supply of electricity from a fixed one. object movable and can be used in the electrical industry.
A device for supplying energy to mobile consumers is known, which comprises a hollow flexible guide element, inside which there is an electrical cable connecting the consumer to the energy source during their relative movement. The guide element is assembled from individual links, which are pivotally interconnected with the possibility of relative reciprocal rotation at a certain angle so that when the consumer moves relative to the power source, the guide element forms a T self-supporting loop oriented in the required direction. The electrical cable is held inside the case by chain links and axles connecting the links between themselves, and to reduce the friction of the cable during its movement, the axles are provided with bushings 1.
However, the guide element does not provide comprehensive protection for the cable located therein, since protection is provided only by side plates (chain links), while access to the cable from above and below remains open. So hit for example
Splitting metal shavings when machining a part on a machine can lead to cable damage. The complexity and high cost of the device are also noted due to the need for labor-intensive manufacturing and installation of a large number of chain links, axles, bushings and other parts that make up the guide element; the need for monitoring and maintenance during operation due to the presence of a large number of friction pairs; the danger of cable kinks due to the small area of the support (the cable rests only on the surface of the sleeves; the impossibility of carrying out automated production of the protective guide element due to the complexity of its design.
The aim of the invention is to increase the reliability of the structure.
The goal is achieved by the fact that the device is equipped with a locking element made in the form of a flexible tape. the guide element is made of a rectangular shape of a helically wound profiled tape, with a flexible tape attached to one of its sides.
FIG. 1 shows the carrier, general view; in fig. 2 is a schematic depiction of the device; in fig. 3 - bearing and fixing elements, longitudinal section; in fig. 4 is the same, bottom view; in fig. 5 is a longitudinal section of the carrier and the locking element, the carrier element being located in a compressed longitudinal position; in fig. 6-11 embodiments of the carrier element; in fig. 12 shows embodiments of a flexible shell.
A device for supplying electric power from a fixed object to a moving object contains a hollow flexible guiding element 1 of a rectangular shape made of metal spirally wound profiled tape and a fixing element 2 made in the form of a flexible tape which is fixed to one of the sides of the guiding element 1. Adjacent turns 3 and 4 profiled ribbons are designed alternately protruding outward and inward longitudinal coils. The profile tape is spirally wound around itself in such a way that the edges 5 and 6 of the individual turns interlock with each other. A cable is located inside the guide element. From the fixed fixing point, the flexible cables extend to a movable repeater, which can be returned reciprocally in the direction of arrow A.
The guide member (Fig. 2) is self-supporting in the vertical direction. Despite this, it is possible to move in the direction of the arrow L, while the connecting part of the two horizontal parts of the loop moves. Movement occurs without any friction or tension.
The locking element, made in the form of a flexible tape, can be made, for example, of steel sheet and mounted on the outer surface of the coils 3 of the flexible profiled tape.
The locking element 2 (Figs. 2, 3 and 4) can be secured in the extended position of the guide element 1, or in its longitudinal compressed position (Fig. 5). Since the element 3 is rigidly fixed on the coils 3 of the guiding element, the edges 5 and 6 in the longitudinal position of the guiding element are fixed relative to each other, however, movement along the type of hinge movement is possible, so that the guiding element is deflected only in one side. Due to this, the guide element is mainly self-supporting with respect to the other three sides. The movement is carried out without any friction or strain.
FIG. 6, 7, 8, and 9, other design elements of the guide element are presented.
FIG. Figure 7 shows a guide element comprising individual intermediate parts 7 which are rigidly mounted on one edge 8 of a turn of a flexible profiled tape and at the same time rests on the other edge 6.
FIG. 7 and 8, the guide member comprises intermediate parts 9 and 10, which, when making a flexible profiled strip, are laid in such a way that edges 6 are located in the grooves of intermediate parts. Intermediate parts 9 and 10 can be made both hollow (Fig. 7) and solid (Fig. 8). When the intermediate piece is made integral on it, a bevel 11 is provided to obtain a pivotal movement of the guide member.
The guide element (Fig. 9) may contain an intermediate piece 12 made in the form of a strip with grooves and protrusions that are located in the grooves formed by the turns of the flexible profiled tape, while the intermediate piece 12 is rigidly connected with the guide member. Item 12 (FIG. 11) may be attached to the guide member of the longitudinally flexible sheath 13 (FIG. 12).
0 The locking element 2 (Fig. 10) can be fixed on the guide element 1 only with its ends, and its loose part is fixed by the casing 13. The described construction of the device for supplying electricity from the stationary
The movable object provides complete and comprehensive protection of the cable enclosed in the cavity of the carrier element, is reliable in operation, easy to manufacture.
